JasoninMT Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 For the Bills... We've had so many decent young RB, but it seems to me most didn't get the start their first season. (then again, maybe I just have a bad memory).
Vinny4sum Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Not sure it was the last but I am pretty sure Terry Miller did in 1978.
flopagamo Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Joe Cribbs was a starter throughout his rookie season... and I think Greg Bell began as a starter too.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Remarkably, it goes all the way back to Marshawn Lynch. http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/29196/BUF_Gamebook.pdf

bowery4 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Remarkably, it goes all the way back to Marshawn Lynch. http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/29196/BUF_Gamebook.pdf haha I like how you put it better but since we both had the same answer at the same minute JINX!

JasoninMT Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 And here I was sort of hoping it was something Special... I found a pretty useful website after posting this which showed me that Travis Henry started his first game, as did Thurman... Antowain didn't & neither did McGahee... I forgot that Lynch did too. So, it isn't really special at all. Oh well. I still think (hope) Spiller is going to be fun to watch.
flopagamo Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Thurman got 18 carries in his first game as a pro... probably started, but I can't recall for sure. Remarkably, it goes all the way back to Marshawn Lynch. http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/29196/BUF_Gamebook.pdf
ChasBB Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Going back to OJ -- a talent like him SHOULD have started his entire rookie year, but it was squandered by John Rauch due to the coach's inability to figure out what to do with OJ his first couple of seasons. It'd be like Gailey not being able to figure out a way to use Spiller both this year and next.
Benjamin Barker Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Remarkably, it goes all the way back to Marshawn Lynch. http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/29196/BUF_Gamebook.pdf lol nice OWNED
ganesh Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Marshawn did it in 2007 And probably Travis Henry in 2001.
Another Point of View Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Greg Bell, O.J. Simpson, Antwoin Smith, Travis Henry, I am sure there is more.Didn't Thurman start as a rookie?
