Greg de'Ville Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 ...that is WILD (card)! dunno if the Jints can beat the Nevermores, they're dropping like flies. If the Bears compete as they did today, they could give Jax a go. Would be a serious reach for Dieami to win at Denver but the other two scenarios are favorable. Still, Bills have to keep the mo going and do their part next week at home vs. the Brownies.

PTR 147789 Nothing big happens next week. Houston has no realistic shot to make it let alone beat Indy. Cincinnati is a moot point because for us to make it, we have to run the table and by beating Cincy, they'll have 7 losses. All 4 WC Contenders win next week, and we'll still be one game back heading into hell week the next week. That is the season breaking week as we go at Cincy, and Baltimore and everyone else starts playing the Big Boys!

So, basically Denver has to go 2-2 in their last four. It's looking like they have the best chance to break our hopes!

Those were two crushing division losses in succession (Faiders & Bolts). Some real dubious playcalling by Shanahan late in that game.
Rubes Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I'm pretty sure Denver would by virtue of a better AFC Conference record. So, basically Denver has to go 2-2 in their last four. It's looking like they have the best chance to break our hopes! 147812 Right now, Denver is 4-4 in the AFC, Buffalo is 3-6. The Bills have 3 games left against AFC opponents, and since we must win out, that would make us 6-6 in the AFC. The Broncos have all 4 games left against AFC opponents. Since they are now 7-5, they would need to go 3-1 to finish 10-6, which would give them a 7-5 AFC record. So, unfortunately, we would also need Denver to finish at 9-7 to get the last wild card. Their games are against MIA, at KC, at TEN, and IND. It is possible they could go 2-2 in that stretch, but I'm guessing not likely. Then again, I've seen stranger things.
