jabtot Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Just got done listening to about an hour of the late morning show on Sports radio WQAM in Miami. They referred to the Bills several times as "Hapless". They referred to Sunday's game against the Bills as a "practice game". I know the Bills will have trouble on Sunday with Miami, but should Miami be so over confident about the game? Why give Chan Gailey something to put on the bulletin board? Are the Bills so bad than nobody cares what they say about them?? I realize this is only media folk. Have heard nothing out of the Dolphins yet..

Not surprised by the comments, but I don't think it will be board material... if it came from someone within the Dolphins organization, then yea probably.... but not coming from the media.... JMO
CodeMonkey Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Curious though as to why the Miami media thinks the fish are so much better than the Bills. Just being homers maybe? Vegas certainly does not agree with them. Wonder what they will be saying Monday after the fish squeak by the Bills, or better still, lose to them.

No one in the media is going to give the Bills any credit until they earn it by winning. However, the Miami radio guys should remember the Bills beat the fish in Buffalo last year and stop being so smug.

JMO These must be some 0-16 guys stating this..... Sunday I better see a babies head, that's all I know...........
Another Point of View Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Well you should beat a hapeless team by 30........ right?
GOBILLS78 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 In what way is the Buffalo franchise not hapless? Could it be set for a turnaround? Quite possibly, but it hasn't happened yet.
The Dean Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Listen to Buffalo radio. They mercilessly bash the Bills, too.
dollars 2 donuts Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 No one in the media is going to give the Bills any credit until they earn it by winning. However, the Miami radio guys should remember the Bills beat the fish soundly and convincinglyin Buffalo last year and stop being so smug. Fixed that for ya, NT!
Amstel Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 If it serves as motivation for the team it will only be in that they want to prove everyone wrong.......
Bills Fan in MD Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 What has Miami done the past few years? If you take away their 2008 season, the Dolphins have had about the same amount of success as the Bills since about 2003.
MattyT Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The Bills must have a HUGE bulletin board to fit all the negative comments about them.
Phil Hansen Forever Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Listen to Buffalo radio. They mercilessly bash the Bills, too. Until the Bills pull off a big win, and not by 3 pts, but 30+, nobody in the media is going to raise an eyebrow, or write a decent objective story. They will yawn, stretch their arms and go back to sleep.
basskik11 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Buffalo is gonna take them out on Sunday.
BillsMan75 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Listening to the media say the Bills are hapless, hopless, bottom dwellers, etc.... gets a bit tiresome. Even when the Lions were 0-16, many of the games they played were close even entertaining. I am to the point now that I don't listen to the media reports anymore. I read the informative articles about whats going on and as soon as it turns negative(if it turns negative) I close the page. If they lose on Sunday they lose. Oh well. Do I think they will lose???? Well thats another story. Bills 27 Dolphins 17.
FightClub Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Miami Dolphins 7 9 0 .438 360 390 Buffalo Bills 6 10 0 .375 258 326 It's clear that one additional win makes the Dolphins a much better team from last year.

zow2 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) Kind of ridiculous really. They have short memories. I was at the Bills-Dolphins game last November. Miami was fighting for their playoff lives. Bills were banged up. SO what happened? Fitz threw for 250 yds and rushed for 50 more in a 31-14 thrashing of the fish. Coming into this game I'd argue the Bills are slightly better than last year's version (and definitely not as banged up). Miami might be the same or slightly better, not sure? My only real concern is Trent. I'd actually feel more confident with Fitz in this game since he was great in the 31-14 win. Trent is the big unknown. Edited September 7, 2010 by zow2
Ever Since '86 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 spiller, lee, and roscoe all have huge days and trent plays mistake free... Bills by 14 baby!!!
