flipjohnson Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 '89 - Kelly dives into the end zone to beat the Dolphins. '90 - Bills surprised everyone by coming out in the no-huddle en route to easy win over the Colts. The start of an era. '88 - The beginning of a surprising 12-4 season ... close win over the Vikings & I think Hal Garner snuck through on his hands and knees to sack Wade Wilson and preserve the win.
slcbillsbacker Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 One of the best Bill's home opener's for me was '90, vs Colts. Still stinging from that bitter defeat to the Brownie's 8-months earlier, the Boyz came out w/ the new no-huddle from the START. The Rich was Rockin'!!! I was living in Anchorage @ the time & flew home to be best man for my HS buddy, hang out w/ fam & friends, eat Buffalo food and see a Bills game! What a week, what a game! Newly minted Savior/Golden Boy/Joe Montana, etc...Jeff George, didn't even know his own name by the 3rd Q (think Biscuit slammed his head into that old turf a cpl times) and our Buffalo Bills were off on that amazing 4-yr run of awesomeness!!
