There were earlier false reports that he had signed. Him eventually signing doesn't make old false reports true retroactively.

Not even an hour ago, Vikings coach BC said they were in no way, shape or form interested in TJ. Guess nobody told him they were going to sign him.

I was going to say the same the same thing as you guys, but wanted to play nice. But you guys already started , so what the hell.

 

You wanted to have him:

 

a) Talk to the 31 other teams in the NFL to gauge their interest.

 

b) Out of the teams that wanted him, find the best few offers.

 

c) Out of those offers, decide which team was the best fit for him.

 

d) Figure out how to work out a fair contract given the unique nature of his previous contract. (Seattle has to pay the difference between his new salary and his old salary.)

 

But, he should have done that in a total of about 3 hours.

They tend to put only current news on the live ticker like that.
