hskong Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I saw Bills Official home roster page. And I saw there are only 53 player on roster. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster.html
Pete Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Dominique Harris. Wow. Coleman. And Jones over Jackson and Hardy
bouds Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Corto on the PUP, definitely looks like the official roster.
Maddog69 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 really surprised about Jones over Jackson. Maybe salary related? They are very heavy at LB/DE and CB/S and thin at OL, WR, TE and RB I would imagine there will be some tweaking to the roster over the next few days. Foschi sucks, they need to find a TE. OL depth is terrible. They need to add 2 bodies there. I think a move could stil me made with Foschi, Moats/Coleman, Kelsay, Cary Harris and maybe even Brohm.
Rockinon Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Dominique Harris. Wow. Coleman. And Jones over Jackson and Hardy Jones over Jackson surprises me. I guess I haven't really seen much from him and thought Jackson looked pretty good. Hardy just never seemed to be able to get anything going.
Bob in STL Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I saw Bills Official home roster page. And I saw there are only 53 player on roster. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster.html OL= Bell - Levitre - Hangartner - Wood - Green Backups = Howard, Meredith, and Wang. Would like to see us pick up a veteran G/C. Cannot believe they will stay with only 8 on the OL and two TE's.
Cereal Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Interesting... on the depth chart, we've got Florence ahead of Leodis at CB... http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart-list.html
cåblelady Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 really surprised about Jones over Jackson. Maybe salary related? Sounds like it.
wooly22 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 5 UDFAs. I was shocked! Coleman, D Harris, C Howard, D Jones, and D Nelson.
vizslafan Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Total of 12 rookies on the team - including 2 on IR
KD in CA Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 This is a young team -- I like that. Ten rookies, and if you exclude the K and P (who cares who old they are), average years of experience is 3.9.
Wagon Circler Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Interesting... on the depth chart, we've got Florence ahead of Leodis at CB... http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart-list.html Dumb. I think McKelvin is better.
Meark Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think someone will pick up Joique Bell to an active roster.
DonInBuffalo Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Interesting... on the depth chart, we've got Florence ahead of Leodis at CB... http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart-list.html Not really a surprise. That's the way it's been all preseason. As long as everybody is healthy, McKelvin only gets on the field when they go nickel/dime. I found it interesting that an "offensive minded" coach kept 22 offensive players and 28 defensive players. Spiller is ahead of Lynch on the depth chart. Looks like the Special Teams depth chart hasn't been updated yet.
eball Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Plenty of surprises here, at least to me. 8 O-linemen? 10 LBs? Bell cut? Happy for McCargo though. I think this guy has game and will pleasantly surprise. 5 UDFAs may be an NFL record.
Phil Hansen Forever Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think someone will pick up Joique Bell to an active roster. I can't believe they cut Bell, and left Lynch.
BillsFanInLV Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think someone will pick up Joique Bell to an active roster. I along with many on this board were impressed with Bell. Heck, I liked Bell's running style more than that of Lynch, even when he WAS healthy.

This is one of those situations where I guess the difference comes from what Gailey saw in practice. Gotta trust the man with experience, I guess.

I guess the pick six against Detroit solidified him as the #2. This is one of those situations where I guess the difference comes from what Gailey saw in practice. Gotta trust the man with experience, I guess. Correct. I agree. Edited September 4, 2010 by BillsFanInLV
