Deep2Moulds46 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 OK, little bit of a surprise there. All he did was produce.
THE GASH STATION Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 OK, little bit of a surprise there. All he did was produce. Really thought he would be the #2 WR. Maybe he has some sort of problem, attitude etc ?
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I am confused by this. Donald Jones over Jackson? I am not confused by any other cut. Not even Bell.
inkman Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 There is a reason he can't seem to stay in the NFL. Something other than his football ability.
4BillsintheBurgh Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Not sure, but did Jackson lose out because Jones was covering kicks/punts better?
cåblelady Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Words of wisdom to me from a very dear friend: "Think about it: veteran, guaranteed contract if he's on the roster in Week 1. If nobody else signs him, he might be back." Helps a little, but.....I am still really sad.
Magox Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Doesn't make sense to me.... Gailey must know something we all don't....

Rockinon Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) Not sure, but did Jackson lose out because Jones was covering kicks/punts better? Good point, but the funny thing is I haven't heard or seen anything about him being better on special teams. Or about him tearing it up as WR. Was it Jackson, who was who was having problems running routes exactly the same way to disguise the play better? Seems I recall Chan saying something about it. Edited September 4, 2010 by Rockinon
cåblelady Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 very true Just got a comment on FB from Chad.....
Arkady Renko Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Just got a comment on FB from Chad..... What did he say?
John Cocktosten Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 What did he say? 3rd team wasn't a charm
cåblelady Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 What did he say? He had changed his current location to his hometown earlier today. I didn't think that sounded too good so I asked him: shouldn't ur current location be B-lo? Then after I found out he got cut I posted: OMG....... He posted back a few minutes ago: lol. Then I just kinda poured out my heart to him telling him how upset I was and he replied: thank u This really, really, really has me quite upset.

I think that was Johnson. I just don't know ho wmuch Chad was doin on special teams. Nelson was playing well enough to make it as the fourth wr, it seems to me the 5th had to play ST and not just a return guy because we had so many anyways. So I think Jackson's only chance would have been to beat out Nelson. Seemed like he was in the running and had a shot, but they must have liked Nelson's potential (and size) better than Chad's. I think Chad did well for himself, maybe he will catch on somewhere.

johnnywo Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Chad Jackson cut surprised me as well but as another poster wrote he might be back. What's worse is that McCargo's doo-doo behind made the roster....TURRIBLE..
