Losman-McGahee-Evans Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 As I see we are competing with the following teams for the second wildcard spot. We of course have to win out but if those teams lose the games they should lose it looks like we're in if we do indeed win out. 7-5 Denver (MIA, @KC, @TEN, IND) Baltimore (NYG, @IND, @PIT, MIA) 6-5 Jacksonville (PIT, CHI, @GB, HOU, @OAK) 6-6 Cincinatti (@NE, BUF, NYG, @PHI) I think it's a very real possibility that we will be playing in the playoffs.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 We clearly have the easiest schedule out of the AFC teams going for that last wildcard spot. The game against the Bengals IS a playoff game for us. We beat them, and I think we can get in.

Buffalo needs to finish 10-6 just for a CHANCE at a playoff game. My predictions: Week 13: Pittsburgh over Jacksonville (6-6) Week 14 Buffalo over Cleveland (7-6) Denver over Miami (8-5) Baltimore over NYG (8-5) Jacksonville over Chicago (7-6) New England over Cincy (6-7) Week 15 Buffalo over Cincy (8-6) KC over Denver (8-6) Indy over Baltimore (8-6) Jacksonville over GB (8-6) Hoooooly cow, what a race we have. Tenn over Denver (8-7) Pitt over Baltimore (8-7) Jacksonville over Houston (9-6) Buffalo over San Fran (9-6) And the final week: Buffalo OVER a resting Pittsburgh (10-6) Jacksonville over Oakland (10-6) We run the schedule. And the loss to Jax hurts 10x more than we ever thought it would. Though, a few upsets or injuries would drastically change the look of the race.

In my opinion if we beat Pittsburgh we're in. If we don't I think we finish 9-7 and are on the outside looking in with tiebreakers.

Look at their remaining schedule: @ Pitt - L? Seattle - W? NE - L? @ St. Louis - L? 10-6, with a loss to NE in Week 16, would give a 10-6 Bills team the tiebreaker.

I know the NFC is terrible, but A team from florida going to Lambeau in December while the Pack are in a playoff hunt sounds pretty good for us.
