cmjoyce113 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 nyce18 thanks buffalo for all the support...but i think im a have to find a new home!!
apuszczalowski Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 The move could be to put him on the Practice squad. I can't see him being cut and just let go
tbonestake Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I am disappointed but proud of him at the same time! He made SJCI and all the alumni very proud! I would love to see him signed to the PS but if he gets an opportunity to play somewhere else, best of luck!!!
ChasBB Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I really hope he ends up on the practice squad and not some other team's roster.
truth on hold Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I really hope he ends up on the practice squad and not some other team's roster. Odds are neither
ChasBB Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) I don't see this on his twitter. you're right -- says nothing of the sort. Probably just some BS post to gauge fan reaction. Edit: Here's the link: http://twitter.com/nyce18 This thread should be deleted. Edited September 4, 2010 by ChasBB
Nanker Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 you're right -- says nothing of the sort. Probably just some BS post to gauge fan reaction. Shades of Lou Saban with his arm around Daryl Lamonica and then Jack Kemp to gauge fan reaction? Not really. Don't think it works like that in today's world.

Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 The move could be to put him on the Practice squad. I can't see him being cut and just let go Seems as though Jones, the other undrafted rookie WR, was more impressive.
Pondslider Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 He probably will be cut. Hopefully he stays on the practice squad.
Buffalonian-at-Heart Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 It's being reported other places. This is usually a credible site. My guess is he took it down, figuring saying "I'm going to have to find a new home", would diminish his chances of getting a practice squad offer. However they usually tell you about the PS when they tell you that you didn't make the 53 man roster. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/4/1669208/thanks-buffalo-for-all-the-support#comments
Arkady Renko Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Link to the tweet. Maybe I don't understand twitter, because it's not on his main page. http://twitter.com/nyce18/status/22973347410
Oneknee Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 As a UB grad myself, it would have been cool if he made it, but I didnt see anything in the preseason which stood out. Best of luck!

MaineMoxie Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) As a UB grad, I really wanted to see him make it - even though I'm also a CHS grad and had a hard time rooting for a St. Joe's guy. I thought he played well, but they are pretty deep at WR. The only hope is that he makes it as a special teamer or else the practice squad. Anybody know if Starks survived in Green Bay? zow2 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 If Roosevelt were on New England, he'd catch 60 passes out of the slot. That's the same team that made Julian Edelman into another Welker. Naaman is a better receiver than Edelman (who played QB in college). The Bills just don't have a QB that gets him the ball and they haven't made him a focus target. If some team does, he will prove to be a really good player, imo.
Albany,n.y. Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Seems as though Jones, the other undrafted rookie WR, was more impressive. Jones didn't show much & will get cut too. David Nelson was the best rookie receiver this preseason & is a lock to make the team.
