Baby carrots -- eat em' like junk food AP - Syracuse, NY -- A new marketing campaign rolling out in Syracuse is supposed to make baby carrots seem daring, fun and naughty -- just like junk food. A few years back a farmer (in Bakersfield I think) got tired of selling broken carrots for feed. He decided to turn them into something cute and marketable. He got a drum and rolled the carrot pieces until they were smooth and rounded off. SOB probably made a nice buck too. One other thing...I'm not surprised that they caused an accident.
