Amstel Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ any thoughts?
Stealth Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Last I heard he was considering retirement. He's been an upper echelon pure blocking te over his career. Offers nothing as a receiving threat anymore. Not worth it.
Amstel Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 Thank you! I havent really heard anything about him since he left the jets
mattsox Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Old, and Injury prone. Nothing to see here. Move along...
billsfan89 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I think he is better then what we have blocking wise but not by much. I would take a chance on him but I think in the end Stupar and Nelson are our guys.
BobChalmers Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Well, with no disrepect to JP Faschi, who had the game from hell last night, but seemingly has an adequate NFL resume, wouldn't a decent blocking TE be an upgrade at this point.
JinWPB Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I hope we do something at TE, seemed like most of our run plays that went nowhere in preseason were because the TE got run over or missed the block.
bowery4 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Since JP is a Gaily guy from before I think he gets that game written off, Anthony Becht's ship set sail, wait until Sat. cuts, see whats out there.
Malazan Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Becht can't block or catch. How many teams have to cut this guy before Bills fans won't want him?
tbonestake Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think Mark Chmura is atill available...
