Frez Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Not playing Spiller tonight is a smart play by our coaching staff. Very intelligent decision on Chan's part!
The Dean Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Not playing Spiller tonight is a smart play by our coaching staff. Very intelligent decision on Chan's part! Indeed. It probably wouldn't hurt to have him pick up a blitz or something, but he's proven himself for the most part. Let's keep him healthy for the opener.

Buffalonian-at-Heart Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I know this isn't a huge deal, but I like the way Gailey thinks more and more. I love a coach that is a step ahead, and then you think "yeah that is a smart move" about something you weren't necessarily paying attention to yourself.
silvermike Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Obviously the right move, but I was looking forward to watching him play. Oh well - at least the game's not in Buffalo and no home fans will have paid for the privilege.
