IDBillzFan Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I'm not sure why I forgot to put that in, as they are the next thing that's going to cause a recession (or deepen this one because we're no where close to getting out of it). What the hell are you talking about? We're already out of this recession. All economic indicators show we're headed in the right direction. Companies are hiring again. Productivity is up. People are spending. Hell, things are so good, GM just announced a $9M pay package for the new CEO. The only people who think we're "no where close to getting out of" this recession are you Islamophobic racist freaks on the right-wing Faux News train to hell.
Mr. Dink Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 No, they're not. The actual research papers on the subject themselves say so. You'd know that if you pulled your head out of your ass for five minutes and read one. Do you have a link to a specific paper? (I'm 100% sincere and would actually like to learn about this.)
Peevo Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keeling_curve Since people post links to the wiki about the Laffer Curve, I figured its ok.
DC Tom Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keeling_curve Since people post links to the wiki about the Laffer Curve, I figured its ok. That article is also a case study in how to make 20% look like 2000%. Al Gore's book and movie were full of that ****. Hell, fully half the "research" on the subject is full of that ****. ieatcrayonz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Side note: did anyone else glance at that picture and say "Damn, what the !@#$ happened to Dennis Miller?" I actually thought: Climate science. So easy even a caveman can do it.
