It's a new system on both sides of the ball, and the more reps they get in a scenario where mistakes are expected and not detrimental to the seasons outcome the better. When have I ever seen a rookie starter play 6-7 plays out of the 2-3 series with the regular starters in the 4th pre-season game? Every year. Is this too many snaps? Too little? Opinions please I'd like to see the starters get more snaps then that, but I'm not surprised. I think the Bills' coaching staff (like the coaching staffs of most NFL teams) have figured out who the starters will be and want to see what the second- and third-stringers can do.
