DrDawkinstein Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 why not just replace all the water in the ocean with oil so we wont have to worry about this anymore? http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=11543764
dib Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 It all has to do with profit margin and our insatiable thirst for oil

CountDorkula Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 sorry, not enough profit in that. take your good ideas somewhere else, commie. Cornerville Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 why not just replace all the water in the ocean with oil so we wont have to worry about this anymore? http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=11543764 And go back to primitive times so we don't use cars, or really anything we enjoy today, then there will be no need to drill for oil!
Dante Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Where is all the regulators that we pay for on this? Oh I know. We need more thats it and even more regulations to control this kinda thing. More government thats the answer
plenzmd1 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Cheese and Rice, this is not good! What happend to cars running on corn oil? They have actually found ethanal to be worse for the envirnoment than oil..course that doesn't take into effect oil rigs blowing up every quarter
DrDawkinstein Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 Where is all the regulators that we pay for on this? Oh I know. We need more thats it and even more regulations to control this kinda thing. More government thats the answer the sad part is that the same people that lease these wells and rigs and make a profit from them, are ALSO in charge of regulating the operators. major conflict of interest and no checks and balances. stuff like this will continue as long as a profit can be made. who cares about all the fishermen and people who make their livings from these waters...
ExiledInIllinois Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 What is it with the US... How come they can "drill baby drill!" in Norway and Finland and we drill like a monkey !@#$ing a football? :wallbash:
