It seems that whenever the administration has to produce some pronouncement on toss up-type issues, they send in the clowns in the person of the Vice President. (Most of us know he is a joke, so we don't really take what he says seriously.) Since he is the one who often speaks on shaky issues, when they implode in the President's face, Obama can run out the old plausible deniability excuse. Go gettum Joe!
