FluffHead Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) Wang is back practicing http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/08/31/wang-practicing/ Freddy's cast is off and he is practicing. Lynch also practicing http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/08/31/jacksons-cast-off/ Edited August 31, 2010 by FluffHead
Kelly the Dog Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 That makes Wang one of the 53 for sure, IMO. I thought there may be a chance to IR him, too, if he was out for a month into the season. So now we have 5 starters, and probably two locks to make the team at T in Wang and Meredith, who can back up both sides. It probably means we keep two back-up guards, making 9 OL. It could unfortunately be Chambers who can play both T and G positions in a pinch (albeit not well), and I think Gailey likes Howard. This will be interesting to see what they do. Nice to see that Freddy and Lynch will likely be back for the opener. Bring on the stinkin' Fins.
Cugalabanza Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Excellent news! For the first time in a long time, I'm feeling excited about watching the Bills offense.
flopagamo Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Quite the setup offered by the title of this post.
nobody Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 They win a couple preseason games. They're getting healthy. The sun is shining. What are the Bills trying to do? Get my hopes up?
Dorkington Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Glad to hear our RB's getting back out there!
shrader Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Can we put this thread title in the hall of fame right now?
FluffHead Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 Can we put this thread title in the hall of fame right now? thank you, thank you....i'll be here all week....
tbonestake Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Can we put this thread title in the hall of fame right now? +1 He needs to be in the team photo in between the Johnsons, Levitre, and Wood. Hardy will be gone so we don't. He also needs to be behind Youboty.
BUFFALOKIE Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 +1 He needs to be in the team photo in between the Johnsons, Levitre, and Wood. Hardy will be gone so we don't. He also needs to be behind Youboty. You gotta finish with Spiller!
pBills Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Who's Bill and why does he have his wang out on the field?
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Phew, that is a relief. I hope we don't hear "Bills' Wang injured again" any time soon. It will be much too hard for Wang to go without action all preseason.
Paup 1995MVP Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 If Wang is healthy, is their a chance we cut Cornell Green, and just go with Bell, Merideth, Chambers and Wang? Just watched the Bills-Bengals last nite, and his pass protection was pretty shaky. Thought our second team O line looked strong opening holes for Anderson at end of game. Maybe Hennesey is a keeper as well? Thoughts?

Maybe Hennesey is a keeper as well? Thoughts? Hope not. Last year we cut our veterans at the end of camp after playing them in the preseason. Not a brilliant move to make was it? Wang has no experience and I doubt he will play much this season unless we have several injuries at OT.
Albany,n.y. Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Bad news for Chambers. They'll probably cut him with the idea of maybe re-signing him after salaries aren't guaranteed if he's needed.
coldstorage5 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Spiller kicks ass, and both backs are back,....
Wayne Cubed Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 i was thinking since neither green nor chambers seem to be even remotely servicable at RT, i wonder if chan would consider trying Wang(once he gets up to speed) at RT.
Cookiemonster Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 i was thinking since neither green nor chambers seem to be even remotely servicable at RT, i wonder if chan would consider trying Wang(once he gets up to speed) at RT. No, I believe that he is heterosexual.
Bill from NYC Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 So now we have 5 starters, and probably two locks to make the team at T in Wang and Meredith, who can back up both sides. Have we seen enough of Wang to know if he is a good player? How do we know he can back up both sides?
