MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 I think he might be best served at CB than FS. The CB's have been giving-up too many big plays, while Baker seems to be doing a good job. Hopefully the extra rest he got this week will get him back to 100% by next weekend (that is, IF the Bills need him against the woeful Browns).
JStranger76 Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Agreed. I don't know where he should play though. Maybe move in around a little. He has enough expirience to play wherever, so hopefully the coaches make the right move.
YOOOOOO Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Nickel Back......we need one in the worst way....Sick of Seeing guys like Thompson today make big down catches....
Snorom Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Nickel Back......we need one in the worst way....Sick of Seeing guys like Thompson today make big down catches.... 146966 Our secondary has been soft against the pass all season. Put our D up against highly accurate/efficient passers like Brady and we don't have a chance. Manning would destroy us in the palyoffs Our pass rush is and has been weak, and needs to be tuned/improved if we are ever going to be legitimate contenders.

Yeah, there is no question that with better play this D could have come into today's game with a higher ranking than #3 or $ statsitically in the league. Have a little perspective here. Are there many Ds in the league that Brady or Manning has not made look stupid. It is clear that the Bills need to improve their pass rush and that the safety play has not been at adequate levels, but it also is clear this team starts from a point that even despite today's lousy performance by the D in many aspects of the game, our D play is a strength for this team. Have a little perspective here.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 Seems to me I've been hearing this for a while now. 147009 He was THIS close to playing today. He'll be back next weekend, but then again as I asked, do the Bills NEED him against the Browns at home.
JStranger76 Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Yes, they do need him. At the very least it will let us know whether or not to bring in another corner or free safety next year.
