RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 mpl II OK, I am going to show my age... wtf?
DrFishfinder Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Strange to see all the wide running plays. I thought the strength of the Bills OL was in the middle. I don't see the blocking on the wide plays. Blockers too slow or RB's too fast?
Coach Tuesday Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Strange to see all the wide running plays. I thought the strength of the Bills OL was in the middle. That's why it's NOT strange. It's the preseason - coaches want to evaluate what they can, and cannot do. So far, they've learned that they can't generate pressure without bringing some help, and that they have trouble running those stretch plays.
Mark Vader Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Offense looked great, lots of improvement since the first game. Defense must have been out late last night, looked slow and no push from the line until Cincy came out with the 2nd string. The only 2nd stringer was J.T. O'Sullivan, aside from that it was the Bengals starters still in the game.
DrFishfinder Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 OK, I am going to show my age... wtf? Inside poster reference.
Mr. WEO Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Gold Star Chili is "pure Cincinnati" and they're proud of it.
NyQuil Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Really really tempted to put my tickets on stubhub for the opener.
Nanker Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Jeez man... you are missing the point, which is that adding a playmaker like Spiller makes the offense that much better. I can see you in 1520: "Well, Leo, you know if you take away that smile, it's just a painting of a broad..." Or in 1776: "Well, you know, Tom, if you were not such a good writer, this would just be a list of complaints." Trent can look as skittish (look it up, Thurman!) as he likes if he completes 60% (pardon, make that 76%) for 9ypa, which is what he did in the first half. It is just preseason, but goodness gracious man, allow yourself some joy! Sound advice there, RJ.
vincec Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Bills D needs to close off the edges. OLBs are very weak. Kelsay looks like the best of the group and he's average at best.
HurlyBurly51 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Gold Star Chili is "pure Cincinnati" and they're proud of it. Mmmmm....reminds me of Skyline chili and the 5 way when I was out that way
vincec Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I hate to think how much the Bills will miss Schobel this year. RBs are awesome.
HurlyBurly51 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Really really tempted to put my tickets on stubhub for the opener. Why? Being there is priceless.
nucci Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I hate to think how much the Bills will miss Schobel this year. RBs are awesome. He's never played LB before and we have no idea how he would play. Having said that, I don't miss him.
vincec Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Nice run by Fitz. Looks like he's fighting for a job.
