Bill from NYC Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Sorry SDS, but perhaps 2010 WAS a bad year for QBs. I don't know because I focus more on blockers, but so far it looks as if the scouts and GMs got it right this time. Tucker on Tebow

tbonestake Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Ross Tucker is an excellent journalist and this article serves a retort to those in Bills Country who wanted Tebow at 9. Moxy and charisma can only get you so far in the NFL. He lacks the prototypical QB skill set and this will hold him back for at least a couple of years. He may develop into a quality NFL QB but it is going to take a while. If he does not, it could cost Josh McDaniels his job, as his draft day arrogance wreaked of Ditka ditching draft picks in order to pass the dutchie to Ricky Williams. Tebow is a man of faith but that doesn't necessarily mean that you should put faith in him to lead your franchise. I, for one, am glad the Bills passed on him at 9 and did not make a serious play for him. Granted, our QB situation is not ideal but hopefully Trent or Brohm can be competent, like a Kyle Orton. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Alphadawg7 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Add in that guys like McCoy and LeFevour are in danger of being cut in their first preseason and this draft class is not exactly off to a good impression.
