BillsGuyInMalta Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Here we go San Diego and Pittsburgh, here we go!
BillsSouth Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 The Jets will need to have a major collapse now not to secure a wild-card spot, especially if Denver loses, as we want to. They´ll have a 2 game lead over the others.

I agree though they really need to choke to blow a playoff spot
BillsSouth Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Seatlle and St. Louis are not tough games, especially at home.
YOOOOOO Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Seatlle and St. Louis are not tough games, especially at home. 146822 The final STL game is away

I agree though they really need to choke to blow a playoff spot 146809 We can't cathc the Jets unless they go 0-4 and we go 4-0. They have the tiebreaker. The chase for the Jets is over. It's all BAL, DEN, JAX.

Kgun5 Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 What tie-breaker is that? 146836 Conference wins...They have 7, best we can do is 6.
Guest Guest Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Wade is still one of the best defensive coaches...chargers look good
Snorom Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Den needs to lose 3, Ravens and Jax have lose 2. The Bills have to run the table. Den and SD are tied with 9+ min in the 2nd qtr, SD is driving
Kgun5 Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Conference wins...They have 7, best we can do is 6. 146838 Looking again, I had forgotten the NFL moved common games ahead of conference record to break divisional ties (which happen in a wild card tie to get the best team from each division). I havn't figured that out yet, but a quick look says the bills would need the Jets to lose to NE, and go 1-3, for us to win a TB with them.
YOOOOOO Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Conference wins...They have 7, best we can do is 6. 146838 Im not 100% on this but after Division record, doesnt common opponent come first?? then Conference....? I could be wrong... But if so..... At 10-6 Bills are 10-4 Jets are 8-6

It's all BAL, DEN, JAX. 146832 That's correct. Can't catch the Jets. The Ravens are out with their loss today. They have the Colts & Steelers on the road, which will give them 7 losses. So basically it's all about Denver & Jax. Assuming the Broncos lose today and beat Miami next week, they have to lose 2 of their last 3 games: @KC, @Tennessee, and Indy. Possible, although I have a bad feeling Indy will be locked into the #3 seed before the final weekend and may pack it in. The Jags have to play @GB, but otherwise not a tough schedule, so they have to lose tonight, which I don't think they will. Bottom line = the choke on opening day will cost us a playoff spot, not that we'd have a chance to win @Indy anyway.

At 10-6 Bills are 10-4 Jets are 8-6 146846 As long as the Jets lose to NE...I retracted my comment above...The NFL changed this 2 or 3 years ago. My bad.

BillsSouth Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 I really don´t like our game at Cinci. That will be a tough game to win...

The Steelers will more likely have something to play for than the Colts on the last weekend.
