richNjoisy
George (6’4” 251) was signed after the draft by the Carolina Panthers, but was released by the club in June. A second team All-Mountain West Conference selection as a senior at BYU, George had 70 receptions for 827 yards and 11 touchdowns in 38 career games for the Cougars. Perhaps his biggest play was his 25-yard touchdown reception in overtime to beat 22nd ranked Utah last November. He was the team’s second tight end behind Baltimore Ravens fourth-round pick Dennis Pitta. George’s measurables are considered pretty good for a tight end. At his BYU pro day this past spring he had a 4.79 40-time along with a 35-inch vertical leap and nine-foot five-inch broad jump.

San Jose Bills Fan
did he died? Yes. George, the new tight end, died. The players will be wearing a black patch on their unis this year to mourn his loss. The patch will have the number 8_ on it because they hadn't even assigned him a number yet.
