Chilly Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Lol jack, I did it a couple weeks ago. Didn't want to spent the cash for two trips, so I'll be watching the opener here in tx.
LancasterSteve Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 why would any Bills fan pick the Home Opener weekend to go away? Ha-ha...you know I kept asking myself the same queation for the '71 home opener as the ship I was on was docking at Gitmo for a 11 week "visit"
The Tomcat Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Wish I could be at the opener this year... those ribs were great last year. Oh well, I guess taking a trip and getting engaged instead of going to Buffalo is worth it. This works if you are taking a trip to Buffalo for the home opener!
WVUFootball29 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 whats the price per person for the tailgate this year???
SDS Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 whats the price per person for the tailgate this year??? $6/person.
WVUFootball29 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 good deal. working on getting tickets to the game as we speak.
gggbills Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 $6/person. I'm there...looking forward to it
Heitz Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Ok, I ordered 25 1/2 chickens and 10 racks of ribs for the party... They will be available on a 1st come 1st serve basis to those who have paid for the tailgate. Grill space will also be opened to anyone who needs it, so you want to pack a a little less gear - Mike has your grill needs covered. Scott are there a lot of people in already? Meh, we'll bring some more chicken regardless - need anything else? A side dish or something?
SDS Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Scott are there a lot of people in already? Meh, we'll bring some more chicken regardless - need anything else? A side dish or something? It gets tougher to estimate every year because people have been just "showing up" and since we don't get a large block of tix, well... I'm guessing 50-60, but you never know - it could be 40, it could be 80. We have a lot of chicken/ribs to share, but it is what it is. 1st come, 1st serve. The big grill will be there to share if you have something special. Side dishes are appreciated! As a note to everyone, please bring a dish to pass as it makes the tailgate experience much better when you can sample all different kinds of food!
Swy's BBQ Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I have a group of 8 coming with me Scott. And did McCoy get a hold of you. He was going to meet us there too. I know some of us are bringing some extras too. Let me know if you need anything else. I will be there bright and early, how bout you?

Heitz Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Man, is it Sunday yet? I'm going to do some roasted hot peppers and, um, something else to be determined at a later time

WVUFootball29 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Hey guys, the food was great at the Tailgate, just wished I had gotten there much earlier so I could have met a few more people. Ah well as we say in Buffalo, "There's always next year."
