QB, Pass Rush, LT

Recommended Posts

Contrast that with the Redskins, who at 4-12 last season experienced plenty of change. New GM, HC, QB and different defensive scheme.

I dare say the Skins are more committed to winning, and they've found a QB, allocated resources to the OT position, and are improving their pass rush in one year. Nowhere does it say it's impossible to rebuild in a shorter span. Atlanta and Miami have done it. Washington might well too.

So the Bills aren't committed to winning? They tried to get McNabb but he didnt want to come here. Washington had the 4th pic in the draft so they got a great prospect at LT. The Bills probably(hopefully) would have done the same if they picked in that spot. We changed our coach and gm(or got one for that matter). So I don't see how you can insinuate that we aren't committed. They addressed our horid run blocking which should help things. And no one knows what the pass rush is going to look like. and besides, no one knows if Washinton will be better than the Bills. Its STILL only August.

So, let's see. The Bills went after Mike Shanahan, supposedly offered him the moon and a few planetoids, and he stalled until the Redskins job came open and signed with the Redskins immediately. Then, you throw in your argument that the Bills "tried to get McNabb but he didn't want to come here."

Why would that be? Because the Bills are obviously committed to winning and doing what it takes to win championships?

Does Snyder spending money like it's going out of style, and getting the same results as Ralph, mean he's committed to winning?

Most important "positions/phases" to be successful in the NFL (a little different than the OPs)

1-QB

2-OL

3-Pass Rush

Bills Worst 3 "positions/phases"

1-QB

2-OL

3-Pass Rush

And people wonder why we havnt made the playoffs in ten years.

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RIGHT ON!

you are so right...that's why this is going to be an awful year

It won't be awful as long as you ....

1) live in Buffalo and have a solid tradition of tailgating with friends

2) Realize that this team is going to be uhhhh, no so good

3) Have hope that the franchise QB is going to be on this team next year

To quote the all knowing Madden....

"In order to win games you have to score points... if the team can't find the endzone more then the team they're playing against...well that just means their not gonna win."

If you analyze this quote right down to the very last word "win", you'll understand fully why the Bills are where they are.

Here's another one from Madden that may help Chan coach this team...

"Football is a game of field position. If your moving forward and not backward then you're probably doing pretty good."

The universal answer to everything wrong with the Bills lyes within.
