NIGHT PRACTICE NOTES

Buffalo’s night practice concluded with some good news as head coach Chan Gailey revealed that Marshawn Lynch’s ankle injury may not take as long to heal as first believed.

“I think it’s not a major injury by any stretch of the imagination and I would think he could be back by the last preseason game,” said Gailey. “That’s what we’re hoping anyway.”

Buffalo’s last preseason game is Sept. 2nd at Detroit and is just 17 days away. Lynch hasn’t been forced to stay off the ankle as he was standing on the sidelines watching practice for both the morning and evening sessions Monday.

I would love to see that. I'll miss Freddy, but I would be eager to see what Lynch and Spiller could do to the Fins.

Weak. I love FJax and want him back as soon as possible but a Lynch/ Spiller combo won't miss a beat. Lynch is a motivated player this year and will look a lot more like the guy from his first 2 years.

Seems like I read somewhere Jackson was pushing/hoping for a speedy recovery.
