stuckincincy Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Why is it so hard to accept that George Wilson is actually a pretty good football player? He seems so - with the Fewell/Jauron Cover 2. emphasis. It's different now. So we will learn new things about the defensive backs. All we can do is "stay tuned."
tbonestake Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Finally have a diamond in the rough developing and he is carted off for injury. If they are breaking out the cart, odds are he is done for a while (6-8 weeks min) http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/08/17/nelson-carted-off/ Phooey!
tbonestake Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 However...its chance for Naaman to make the final 53 by default! The two sweetest words in the English language! DE-FAULT! DE-FAULT! DE-FAULT!
LABills08 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Damn. So what is it now? Nelson, Huggins, Easley and Hardy all messed up? Injury bug still seems to be all over the Bills, though I think it is much more pronounced on our team bc of we lack roster depth. Nelson and Easley looked really promising in camp. In other news, sounds like Chad Jackson made the roster hahaha.
The_Philster Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Results are much better than expected. Takin it day to day but should be back on the field as soon as next week! http://twitter.com/DNelson83/status/21453486661
sharper802 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 George WilsonGoing into week 17, QBs had a passer rating of 12.5 throwing to Wilson's coverage area The only S with a better rating, of 0.0, only played a part of a game That's because he was rarely near his coverage area. The WR's were so open they couldn't tell who was supposed to be covering them....
Doc Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 So Nelson's injury isn't as bad as first reported, like Lynch's isn't? Who is the doctor, Mr. Scott? "Aye coach, I'll have him back in 4 weeks." "Four weeks, Scotty, the season starts then!" "He'll be back in a week."
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 That's because he was rarely near his coverage area. The WR's were so open they couldn't tell who was supposed to be covering them.... Yeah, I'm sure that's it. The statistic is based on whether or not the WR knows who's covering them.
