I use stagevu its has everything you could possible want for free usually in HD. So use it before it gets taken down. There is also (watch movies online) which is ok. Google stagevu and u and it will be the first link. What are you looking for i will find it if you want.
Fingon
Netflix is well worth the 10 bucks a month for access to all their streamed movies/TV shows.
SageAgainstTheMachine
For tv shows, go with hulu. For movies, use surfthechannel and use the megavideo links. For whatever reason, going directly to megavideo is less reliable.

Well, I don't know about Canadian libraries, maybe Crayonz does, but here in the States, most libraries offer DVD rentals now. Not quite immediate satisfaction, but still free with a library card. Even Andy is not available for me to watch!! Damn the CRTC with their Canadian content regulations...Every year we have to find a bar with an illegal US feed to watch the Super Bowl with the US commercials... The Dean
Andy, if you are looking for places that index video content and supply links to it, here are some (they all can be a bit hit and/or miss): http://www.surfthechannel.com/ http://www.freetvonline.com/ http://www.channelsurfing.net/ http://tv.blinkx.com/ http://www.sidereel.com/_television Most of these simply have links to Chinese sites like Megavideo and Tudou. As Sage mentions, sometimes it's easier to find the content on the sites above than the Chinese sites themselves. Of course there are the "official" sites like hulu and fancast.com, but that's where you are most likely to run into the Canadian issues. Also, don't forget many of the networks stream episodes of some of their programming.

PeteBills4ever
Andy? Clarify. I think that was intended for me, even if you had The Dean's post in your reply...Andy? Clarify? Jim buddy, what time did you start drinking today? You post a link with Andy of Mayberry that goes to a video of the Andy Griffith show and your asking me to clarify Andy?... As for The Dean thanks for the links, found what I was looking for, I would send you a beverage of your choice with a nice cigar if I could... The Dean
Andy? Clarify. Honestly I have NO freaking idea what the hell that was? Maybe I got it from the Andy of Mayberry comment, but if so that's pretty weak on my part. I think that was intended for me, even if you had The Dean's post in your reply...Andy? Clarify? I think Jim wondered why I started my post with "Andy,...". To be clear I started drinking fairly early today. But I also stopped over three house ago. I'll take a rain-check on the beverage/cigar, Andy...er, Pete. I had to spend a bit of time with no cable/sat and limited over-the-air TV, and even more time w/o HBO, Showtime, etc. So I've done my share of watching on the Internet. I love breaking the no beer sales till noon laws on Sunday with a large stash in the fridge. Regards Dean, he addressed his post TO Andy, and no matter how many times I shift around Pete I don't get Andy. Regardless, I am taking a brief sabbatical.
