billieve420 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/201...t-46-weeks.html Jackson is out 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his left hand. Lynch is out 3-4 weeks with a sprained ankle. Joique Bell and Chad Simpson just saw their chances of making the team go up considerably.

Peter Griffin Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 everybody can put there we need to trade a rb threads to rest. True.... Also, I'm just happy there have no serious injuries yet (i.e, season ending)
Nanker Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 everybody can put there we need to trade a rb threads to rest. Let's trade a DB for a RB. We've got plenty of the former and we're getting low on the latter.
AllDayADay Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Big blow for us but hopefully it gets C. J ready and more comfortable in the system. I thought either Bell or Simpson would make the team, now it just makes that a bigger reality. At least its not the season for either one. The thing that pisses me off is that Fred wouldnt of gotten hurt if not for the defender grabbing his facemask..
Skoobydum Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Go with the youth and cut Fred, 30 year old RB's are good for nothing. / Sarcasm.
Bufcomments Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 We should have Lynch back for opening day hopefully so we can go into the game vs Miami with Lynch and Spiller which is not a bad combo if you ask me. Bell and Simpson are having nice camps. I think Simpson makes the teams because of Special teams. Bell might be on the Practice squad . We are set at RB still. QB is another matter...
Mike in Syracuse Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 If you're going to have an injury the RB position might just be the best one to have it at. Marshawn should be back for the opener and Freddy shortly thereafter. More importantly, they'll be very fresh and most undamaged. My biggest concern is blitz pickup. If Joique and CJ are back there they HAVE to be willing to pass protect otherwise Levi Brown might be starting by week 2.
BuffaloBill Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 The door is wide open for Lynch to redeem himself. Looks like FJ will miss one or two games.
Fezmid Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 If you're going to have an injury the RB position might just be the best one to have it at. I thought most here would wish for the top 2 QBs to go down. I still have hope for Edwards -- his first drive was nice...
RealityCheck Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Once again I think that it should be stated loud and clear what a mistake it was to draft Spiller. We are so stacked at RB right now.
tennesseeboy Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 not to worry...injuries happen, we have depth and three guys who need the playing time while Jackson and Lynch heal.

John Cocktosten Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Now the draft makes sense! Nixstradamus!
cåblelady Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/201...t-46-weeks.html Jackson is out 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his left hand. Oh, just wrap it up and play.
Glory Bound Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Once again I think that it should be stated loud and clear what a mistake it was to draft Spiller. We are so stacked at RB right now. Please don't forget to state that again after he wins Rookie of the Year
RealityCheck Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Please don't forget to state that again after he wins Rookie of the Year He will do more than that this year.
Glory Bound Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 He will do more than that this year. So let me see if I understand you correctly. You believe Spiller will win rookie of the year honors & then some...but you prefer he do it on another team?
Nanker Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Oh, just wrap it up and play. You've got to slap him on the butt when you say that though.
