Booster4324
That's a foul. Throw the flag, ref! Interestingly enough, from looking at some of the polls in 2009, the number of birthers has decreased it appears.
IDBillzFan
Interestingly enough, from looking at some of the polls in 2009, the number of birthers has decreased it appears. Going up. Going down. Who really, honestly gives a rat's asshair beyond the nutcrackers who hang onto this "birther" thing every bit as tightly as the liberals who need it to demonize anyone who refuses to think Obama is awesome. As long as the economic policies of this administration continue to suck hind tit while people like Biden simultaneously stand there and tell us "the heavy lifting is over" and "we're on the right track" in spite of consistently bad economic news, there will always be a poll to exemplify the desperation of the people. There is nothing in the short term (or even long term) that shows unemployment will dip or the economy will strengthen, and at the end of the day, all this ridiculous birther stuff is just like the ridiculous mosque stuff; an embarrassingly freakish sideshow that keeps people from focusing on the real problems we face every day. To paraphrase John Madden, winning is a helluva deodorant. Fix the problems and the birther stuff goes away. Unfortunately, there is not a single person running this country who has the balls or even the knowledge to fix the mess. They only know how to make it worse. Nice post earlier btw on what the republicans need to do to win in whichever thread it was.
DC Tom
http://www.oliverwillis.com/2010/08/04/cnn-poll-41-of-republicans-are-birthers-or-have-birther-sentiments/ And if you thought me posting a CNN poll was bad, here is a Daily Kos one. http://friendsofjustice.wordpress.com/2009/07/31/daily-kos-poll-shows-the-birther-movement-is-a-southern-thing/ That Daily Kos poll is just crap; less the nature of the poll than the presentation of it. Makes it look at a glance like 56% of all Republicans are birthers. And frankly, I'm surprised that only 56% of birthers are Republicans...I'd expect it would be more.
