bobby.rasigliano Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 The depth chart for this past game was based solely on performance in camp, so we have to assume that Tee Rent was playing better than the other guys. I think that might be due to the feel of a practice compared to the feel of a game. Trent's problem lies not in his athletic ability, but rather his confidence and poise in the pocket. He know's he's not gonna get clobbered in camp so he plays better, sees the field better, doesnt resort to check-downs so frequently. But live at a game is a whole new story, and the kid ****'s bricks in the pocket. If Brohm could play as well as his stats, of course we'd all like to see him in there. . . likely to fold under our terrible offensive line also though.
Pilsner Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Other than Wood, our "missing starters" were Bell and Green. What are you expecting to change with those two suspects in there? The reason I stated that if all the O-line starters were in for the next game was so that Trent would have no more excuses if he has another bad outing. If he still sucks then...(shakes my head with frustration) If he does a better job then at least maybe he still has a chance. If Trent ends up blowing chunks I don't want him or anyone saying "well we didn't have all our O-line starters in so..." I really want him to succeed but i have my reservations. Time will tell. Our qb's aren't that great obviously. I want the qb in there that gives us the best chance to win, whoever he is.
PDaDdy Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 How did Troupe look Friday? Nearly as good as Terrance Cody.

Phil Hansen Forever Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Trent was out of excuses 2 years ago. Unfortunately he is not out of chances yet. Trent runs like he has cement overshoes on. He passes like he has an anchor attached to his arm. Neither of which make him mobile or accurate. He makes the same excuses, when he misses. Enough is enough, let him go.
hamtenp Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I agree with Tipster, MattyT and FlutieFlakes. I know it was preseason, and it was garbage time, but to me Levi Brown looked the most impressive of the three QB's who played yesterday. It also seemed like he was the only one even willing to attempt a pass over 10 yards. I want Trent to succeed because I am a true Bills fan, but yesterday he just looked like the same ol Trent. Even on the first series, yes he was 5 of 6, but it just didn't seem like he was even willing to try a throw over 10 yards, with the exception of the missed bomb. In his defense, I didn't think he had alot of time to throw though... Fitz has heart and guts, but I think that's about it. In Trent's defense, he executes the plays that Gailey called. So why blame him for not attempting longer passes. Maybe Chan did not call any long passes. Now the interception was his fault, I agree on that part.
FreakPop Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I think we're either cutting Fitzy or Brohm. Might as well give Levi more reps. Let's what he can show. Nope, Trent is going to be the one shown the door. Mark my words!
