Logical Reasoning Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 He better get to the film room and Chad Jackson should pay attention to the coach when he misses the hot route. Evans also could have come back to the ball a bit harder. Kind of all over the place here and beer can only be so strong.
Mark Vader Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 What happened to Moats today happens to a lot of players in their first game. I'm not that concerned after one game for a player who will most likely be a backup player this year.
DonInBuffalo Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Keep in mind he's learning a COMPLETELY new position. He played DE in college, and now he's playing ILB. Also with Poz and Ellison not playing tonight, Moats got into the game sooner than he would have if everyone was healthy.
seadog Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Yeah he looked lost. Sorry dude we got like 15 LB's and will probally only keep 8. Way to much talent for him to climb over on the depth chart. The draft would have been better spent on an offensive tackle prospect. Guy named Wood looked to be in on a lot of play's though.

Too early to abandon the guy.

He was in on plays but always late. Moats played with a hand down his entire career, huge learning curve for him.
MattyT Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Only one game, but I'm also concerned about Moats. The Bills seem to have a hard time keeping LBs on the field, so an almost total newbie like this is worrisome. It was hard enough to start 3 quality LBs in the past...4 might be a problem. If things go well then he can contribute on STs this season and learn in practice...if things don't go well...then yikes! It might be a very long season.
