LABills08 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I hear mixed things on Maybin. Can't tell if everyone thinks he should be getting a sack on every snap or if he is really getting man handled. And my boy at the Buffalo News hasn't updated the "live" blog since halftime, so I'm pretty much shooting in the dark. Only 4 touches for Spiller?
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Greatest comeback in NFL preseason history begins in earnest...
dgrid Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I'm sure that Spiller is better than he showed tonight (I hope), but I really hate having to cut Simpson and Bell. They really should've drafted at a position where they were thin- like everywhere else. we CANNOT cut either. somehow. but we can't cut em.
Mark Vader Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 We need to become the Navy of the NFL, and run the wing option.
crazyDingo Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Okay, scoring against the 3rd stringers. Now we know the team's level of talent. This team is a Joique.

Only 4 touches for Spiller? he either gets manhandled or a sack, or almost a sack. one or the other, nothin in between.

Maybin has been owned by both the Redskin 1st and 2nd stringers. He looked better against the 3rd stringers.

They really should've drafted at a position where they were thin- like everywhere else. I would have liked that better, though I do like spillar. Even more so, I really don't like that we picked maybin last year, which could have been used a lot better. It is too eary to call maybin a bust, but I really thought it was a risky pick for a team that needed a lot of help.
Stan da Man Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Because he brought nothing. No reason to risk injury in a blowout PRESEASON game to our game changing, home run hitter of a player. He showed me enough on a nice 11 yard rush.....keep him a secret until it counts!!!
stevewin Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 This team is a Joique. You've been waiting since OTA's for that one.............
Pirate Angel Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 what is the reason for playing Fitzpatrick so much? Is it so our other Qbs dont get drilled behind that line or because we want him to play awful so there is a reason to cut him?? Certainly we dont need to see what he can do or have him develop.
K-9 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Troup has looked good no matter who he has lined up against. He's a hustler and strong as an ox. A bright spot tonight. GO BILLS

Really wanted to see Brohm and Brown.

I know. we have two othe "qbs"
Pirate Angel Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Jamarcus russel and ryan leaf? No, they actually where put into the starting lineup...
Mike in Syracuse Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Maybin looks great on one play and like ass on another. I think this kid needs one full season as a starter to shake the "bust" label. His explosion is insane, he just needs another 20lbs on his frame. That kid needs to spend 4 nights a week at Duff's!
