Skoobydum
The Pats seem likely to keep six or seven receivers, but special teamers Sam Aiken and Matthew Slater are ticketed for those final two spots. Holt was already behind the eight-ball before missing this week's practices with an undisclosed injury. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...7828&id=

Skoobydum
I'm surprised there haven't been any "Buddy, Git r' Done" posts yet. I always liked Torry & he can teach our young guys a few tricks. I just don't know if he is all washed up or enough about it to comment intelligently, maybe someone here does. Stl Bills
Yeah we should sign him.....as an assistant WR coach. Don't want him taking up a roster spot though.

BuffaloBaumer
Can someone PLEASE explain why this team would ever take a spot away from one of the young guys. People NEED to understand that this team is not going to the Super Bowl this year and that they are in the process of finally building it the right way..... I am not saying you're right or wrong, I just wonder about having so much youth and not enough experience for it to make sense.

What if the experienced player can no longer play? Holt has been unproductive for a couple of years now and is not going to get any better. silvermike
If we wanted Torry Holt, we would have tried to keep Terrell Owens. Or if we just wanted an old hand around the room, we should have just kept Josh Reed. I think we're going to pass.

Er - the reason clubs hire WR coaches is to teach those "tricks"...bringing in a vet, taking up a roster spot - preseason or regular - to do same, isn't very wise. IMO. Doc
He was a bad signing for the Pats. Why would the Bills want him?
San Jose Bills Fan
He was a bad signing for the Pats. Why would the Bills want him? Yes, he was this year's version of Joey Galloway. Belichick is such a genius. Do you think they'll bring back Junior Seau this year? Shawn Springs?

BuffaloBillsForever
This would be a bad move IMO. Stacking the WR corps with veterans is not where we should be heading with this team. I am happy to be moving on from old(er) WR's like Reed and Owens. Signing someone like Holt would be counter-productive.
