sharper802
BY now it is quite obvious that Trent will be the starter week 1. With 3/5th's of the expected starting offensive line out for the first pre-season game is there any reason to take a chance on Trent getting injured? My hope is one long series of handoffs, maybe one deep post, and a few crossing patterns and then get him out of there. The projected starting offensive line isn't going to be good so one with 3 back-ups is likely to be downright awful.
CountDorkula
Gailey said it's a work in progress (the offense that is) So i say yes. The more reps they get, the more familiar they get with the offense. Injuries are a risk, but "The higher the risk, the higher the reward"
tennesseeboy
Trent isn't exactly a franchise player and he isn't far ahead (if at all) of the guys behind him or whatever qb is going to get cut from some other team in a week or two. I say go ahead and play him.
BillyBaroo
Trent is the only one close to having the "it" quality. The other QB's are bums
Skoobydum
We have only to wonder if the 5-1 Trent has returned.
