BEAST MODE BABY! Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 I said after I saw the CJ clips on YouTube (after we first drafted him) that he looked like a Gayle Sayers. I am not saying he's going to be a Sayers, but a lot of times, CJ takes contact but doesn't go down. He's got excellent change of direction. And he's fast. All qualities Sayers had. I maintain it's the slight bow in his legs (a common trait of the greats), his feet staying close to the ground (another common trait of the greats), but I'm MOST impressed with how he gets up to full speed after only a couple steps. Again, like the greats. With his overall skill sets in running, speed, quickness, pass-catching, and return abilities, he reminds me of Sayers the more I watch him run.
