Hard to believe it's been 30 years since he killed John Lennon

Mark Chapman's shot at freedom

Friend of mine worked in the office at Cavage's HQ (record store for the young ones) in the early-mid 80s. They had a contract with Attica to send records/tapes to inmates who paid for them. Chapman sent in an order with all Lennon albums. The VP siad he didn't care if he got fired for it, Chapman wasn't getting any Lennon records.

I worked there for a year after I graduated from college (tough economy back then! - fall 1983). Lots of wild memories... the old man was a trip, "Un-be-LIEV-able!"

!@#$ him. He can rot there.

I'm thinking John might be a little more forgiving. (Too bad he killed him. Otherwise he might help him out.)

B-)

Well, good for John then. He was, at least, a more forgiving man than I.
