Rob's House Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 ...Lately, it seems that the only opinion welcomed on this board is "Nix is God" and "everything the Bills are doing is great". Anything else is called "trolling" or "negative". If the past ten years haven't made you cynical then I don't know what will. Early in the offseason you couldn't dare post anything remotely positive or optimistic without being bombarded by a barrage of insults from the misery loves company crowd. Now that we're coming up on the start of the season, why not have some optimism? Also, it's fine to have a negative take. If, however, you feel the need to insult anyone who doesn't want to wallow in misery with you, you'll probably be labeled an !@#$ or a troll, because, quite frankly, that's what you are.
Skoobydum Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 I hear ya, but I don't really feel that way. Unless they are really annoying like starting threads bitching about negativity & what great fans they are, I usually leave the Pollys alone till the season starts... after all, this is their time. I never said I was a great fan, nor did I start this with that intent to feed some small need. To run down the Bills about how horrible this season is going to be before we even touch the pre-season games is just plain idiotic. I guess you can call the last decade into question and say, hey this team has a history of sucking so it's always going to suck. Things change, teams usually get better.
