Green Lightning Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hey, I thought of trading Lynch for Peyton Manning. It would solve our QB woes so we could trade Trent Edwards for Oher. I'll stand down! Git'er done Buddy! I didn't see your post until after my rant. Solid post!
Rico Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Kelsay Should be Traded for an OTFixed. As Todd Rundgren once said, trade him for Something/Anything.
Malazan Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Good. Let's talk to the Bills about a trade. Oh wait..... I don't think the Bills traded John Fina.
Dorkington Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Again, I think trading Lynch is absolutely ridiculous. He had two very solid years, and a drop off last year for various reasons. All indications are that his is back to his normal, hard running, BEASTMODE self. Fred Jackson, while low on mileage is getting up in age.... Why would you trade a talented running back for a questionable LT, or a low draft pick? Lynch is proven. He can play, and he can play damned well. I'd rather keep the talent we have than trade it away for a lesser talent at another position.
Doc Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The Saints are NOT supremely confident in Bushrod, the guys sucks. They were shocked though that Brown the LT from USC was available at the end of round 2. Bushrod is only keeping the seat warm for him. Please, no trade for Bushrod comments either. The Saints were very lucky and very talented at others positions to be able to get by with Bushrod. It's a pretty big gamble on their part. Charles Brown is wholly unproven and fell to the end of the 2nd round, even though he looks to have talent. It's not too smart to protect your all-pro QB with a guy like Bushrod.
Heitz Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 fwiw, ESPN posted a typical insider story that is probably pure speculation... http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/ru...s%2frumors#5685
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 fwiw, ESPN posted a typical insider story that is probably pure speculation... http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/ru...s%2frumors#5685 For those who don't have Insider, it is a little blurb by someone named Tim Kavanaugh that springboards off Jason LaCanfora's tweet that CJ Spiller was practicing with the first team on Saturday. It's pure speculation that now that Spiller is in camp, that Lynch can now be traded. "Looking back at the earlier rumors on Lynch, the Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams were the interested parties, however the injury-plagued Denver Broncos might show some interest as well, in spite of their recent addition of LenDale White."
