ganesh Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 We have now had almost a week of hitting and practice in training camp. The group that has come out on top during the week has been the secondary. However, in all the practice notes, I have not seen any mention of Reggie Corner making plays. Is he in the dog house or just not getting any opportunities. Last year he was the #3 CB and really had an outstanding camp. With McGee and McKelvin back and Florence playing well, it looks like Reggie COrner has not been able to step up to the next level.

Officially he is doing just fine.
GOBILLS78 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I know on the Billboard notes he was noted for breaking up a pass "as usual."
Guest dog14787 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 He had a nice pick the day I went to camp ... thought I heard/read Corner had a pick,

tennesseeboy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Why can't we follow along with the Corner tradition and have Trent Quarterback, CJ Halfback, Lee End, Brian Punter?
Thoner7 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 He was the Dime CB last night. Looked good with the 2nds as wel.
Mark Long Beach Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I think that they mentioned a couple days ago that he came in as #4 corner to be nickel back and Drayton stayed outside instead of moving into the nickel slot like he usually does. The implication being that DF is better on the outside than RC. Also interesting that they've felt that DF is better in the nickel than LM who comes in and goes outside pushing DF inside. I think Reggie is ahead of the two pretty decent corners behind him: Youboty & Lankster. It may be because of his better skills at the nickel position. Shrug.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 He was bad. He missed the DBs meeting last week with Coach Catavolos. They made him stand in the corner. That's where he's been.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 With all the CB competition, if Reggie has a bad camp, he might find himself "out in the street."
Geno Smith's Arm Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Do you see Reggie as some kind of pivotal player, whose development is crucial to the success of this team?
