DC Tom Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 So, got any catholic friends? This is Darin. Why be so specific?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 This is Darin. Why be so specific? Excellent point, I hadn't thought of that.
Adam Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Humor goes a long way. Hell, most of the gay people I know don't WANT to be married. What is wrong with you? Why wouldn't you want to be married?
Chef Jim Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 What is wrong with you? Why wouldn't you want to be married? I take it you're single. Haven't we been here before?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 What is wrong with you? Why wouldn't you want to be married? I am married, but thanks for the concern. I'd ask the opposite question: why WOULD anyone want to be married?
erynthered Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 What is wrong with you? Why wouldn't you want to be married? Look! A gay joke.
Adam Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I am married, but thanks for the concern. I'd ask the opposite question: why WOULD anyone want to be married? I was making a point- it is a person's choice whether they want to be married or not......my points are like my jokes, they all need to be explained
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I was making a point- it is a person's choice whether they want to be married or not......my points are like my jokes, they all need to be explained Not a problem.
Adam Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Not a problem. You haven't heard any of my jokes yet, then
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 You haven't heard any of my jokes yet, then Just the one.
The Dean Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I know plenty of bigots that don't believe in anything. You, for example, think all people that believe in things are zealots or bigots. That makes you someone who believes in stereotypes, ergo a bigot. A said religion was a "major cause" not "the only cause" of bigotry.
Adam Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 And it wasn't funny. It wasn't a joke- it was a point and a good one. A said religion was a "major cause" not "the only cause" of bigotry. I remember in first grade, a kid picked a fight with me, cause I come from a jewish family. His mom, a christian, taught him that ONLY christians believed in god. Anyone who knows history knows why that is a laughable scenerio. She should have had any children taken away from her.
Chef Jim Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 It wasn't a joke- it was a point and a good one. Oh sorry, then in that case it was funny as hell.
