Last night, a strange situation developed. The Jaguars insisted that defensive tackle Tyson Alualu, the 10th overall pick in the draft, had agreed to terms. Alualu's agent, Kenny Zuckerman, insisted that no agreement had been reached.

Though Zuckerman provided no on-the-record update in the wake of Alualu's desire to sleep on the Jags' latest offer, Jags owner Wayne Weaver chimed in on Monday, claiming that Alualu has indeed agreed to terms and that he'll be flying from Hawaii to Jacksonville, arriving in town on Tuesday.

FOX's Jay Glazer now reports via Twitter that Alualu has indeed accepted the offer after discussing the situation with his family and sleeping on it.

Anyone else starting to think this might be more about the Buffalo Bills front office and not about Spiller and his agent?

Spiller and his agent better beat Suh and the infamous Eugene Parker to a contract resolution. This holdout crap is terrible for the league, bad for teams, and the fans can't stand it. Get your **** together Goodell, this crap has to end.

They really do just need to flat rate the thing and do yearly 5% increases on the Rookie pay scale, it's insane to give these guys Mid 8 figures guaranteed without even a down played in the NFL.

The 3rd DT signing has nothing to do with the first RB signing.

The 8th pick / 10th pick are around 9th pick. so how far out of the box do you get here?

Given the before and after deals, and the fact he's the number 1 RB selected, and top 10.. my guess is they will settle at about Five years, 35M, 21M guaranteed. That's just a bit more than half way between the other deals.. in his favor.

With the picks right before and right after C.J. Spiller signed, meeting in the middle wouldn’t be unusual, or would it?

With Oakland’s Rolando McClain signed for a reported 5 years and $40 million with $23 million guaranteed, and Jacksonville’s Tyson Alualu now done with a 5-year deal worth a reported $28 million and $17.5 million guaranteed, there’s a middle ground for Spiller at pick nine overall. It would be a five-year deal worth $34 million and $20.25 million guaranteed. Something tells me though if it were that simple, Spiller would be at camp by now.

It's a conspiracy man!! Thurman's goat won't even let Levy in the same room with them. All they want to do is sign but Russ is Satan and Nix and Gailey are dressed up like Boss-Hog and Roscoe Peco Train, and are taking their third afternoon nap.

Did you ever consider that this is bigger than you think? You think the conspiracy is against all Bills fans...but it could be just about you... Maybe they are watching you, and they are secretly destroying your life, one player at a time.

It is funny there is so many things that people really do to !@#$ with our lives, and you think the FO is playing games with Spiller's deal. You dumb ****, they DRAFTED HIM BECAUSE THEY WANT HIM ON THIS TEAM. In other news there is no middle class, there is 16 Billion per month spent on two fake wars, health-care is a travesty, and we know what you are really doing, Buddy Nix!!!

This is all about OBD not Spiller. Sorry to knock down all the "Ralph is not Cheap and Water is not wet!" sheep.

You're right. You know with all the evidence to the contrary, based on the facts, you can't be fooled.

Just for the record: Rosco Purvis Coltrane / The P. was an initial.

One of the most screwed up things in sports is what the top of the 1st rounders in the NFL get paid. Keeps the bad teams bad and ruins careers.
