I know EPSN/national media-type guys are saying it's a long holdout, etc., but they never know what's going on with teams like Buffalo. Have the Bills said anything lately? Or Spiller's agent? Thanks for serious replies.
thebillsbiz Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 All media sources just seem hopeful, saying the parameters are set and it should be soon now but they all don't understand why it isn't as easy as just that. Frankly I'm concerned he's asking for money much closer to McClain than Alualu's so they are most likely trying to work it closer to the middle ground which could take a while.

Don't worry. once he signs he'll explain how he needs to look out for his family. How could they survive with a mere $35M, 21 of which is guaranteed.

Maybe 13 million is not a lot of money to you, but it is to most people including me. I can guarantee that Smithers is busy trying to save Ralphs wrinkled old ass some coin. Why shouldn't Spiller do the same for himself?
