BillsRUs Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I didn't even know Canada had fighter pilots Story Video Slideshow You ever been to the Buffalo air show over at the Niagara airforce reserve base?? All the F/18's are Canadian. Gofigure.
WVUFootball29 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 He's lucky that he didn't land right in the flames. Wouldn't that be ironic
bills_fan Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Pilot was only a few feet away from having a "Goose" incident. Lucky him.
linksfiend Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 Wouldn't that be ironic Alanis would think so
RkFast Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Saw that Hornet at the Jones BEach airshow just this past May. Nice looking plane. Or was....
Whites Bay Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I didn't even know Canada had fighter pilots Story Video Slideshow Actually, a major political stink in Canada at the moment is a $9 billion (U.S. or Canadian, it doesn't matter - it's a lot of salsa) proposed purchase of F-35 all-purpose Lockheed fighters. This purchase is being considered because their F-18s are getting a little long in the tooth. Don't discount the political impact of this "aerodynamic impact". This might be the clincher.

Any way you spin it, salsa tastes far better on a taco than an F-35. OTOH, salsa is relatively useless in an international conflict. Although I suppose you do have to feed the soldiers. Just sayin'.
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Would he have ejected over a populated area? Or would he have pulled a "Great Santini" and ditched it away from people on the ground. At least nobody got hurt!
WVUFootball29 Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Alanis would think so +1 for picking up on that
