I was actually hoping the switch to a 3-4 DE position might benefit McCargo and it may have. There's not too much expected of him at that spot. He basically has to hold his ground against the run forcing the ball carrier to the LB's on the inside or attempt to get some form of pressure if it's a passing play through the interior with two other big guys trying to do the same. I just figured this scheme would fit him better for some reason.

Even if it is early. Nothing else is too shocking to see. That and Parrish over Hardy are the only real surprises to me. Hopefully the Bills will finally get some production from McCargo. It would be a very pleasant surprise.
