C.Biscuit97
Yeah, it is pretty sad they never did this before. A lot of colleges and some high schools already do this. It's not like you need a lot of speed and quickness to be an o linemen.

kota
i wonder if they are a requirement for games or not. if they aren't i wonder how many of the players will use them anyway after getting used to them.

If the patsies did this, they would probably find a way to add little actuators and motors in the braces to add an extra % of power boost.

mpl6876
The O line needs more than knee braces. I suggest some steroids instead.

Pilsner
It should be manditory Jim Kelly wore his braces proudly. Our O-linemen can too. I recall one play of Jim scrambling and putting the moves on a blitzing linebacker while he wore his servos and wow was it embarrassing for that LB. Jim even got a first down on the play. So our O-linemen should still be nimble enough to make plays.

Sorry pal, but that is just plain stupid. the roids only make you injury prone if you stop taking them...you stay healthier when you take them. thats why you see guys take them when they are injured
billsfan89
I like the idea of being proactive and reactive. They might loose a little second level speed but staying healthy is more important.

Bill, it isn't a stupid statement. It is a proven fact that "roids" can make you bigger, stronger, faster, improve injuries faster, etc....Thus, making you a better player. Why do think it is a banned substance?

crazyDingo
Mandatory knee braces are ingenious. I never trusted the surface since they switched it over to nexTurf, or whatever it is now. Too many weird injuries.
