kota Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Whoever thought of that needs a raise. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/07/29/k...ory-for-o-line/
C.Biscuit97 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Yeah, it is pretty sad they never did this before. A lot of colleges and some high schools already do this. It's not like you need a lot of speed and quickness to be an o linemen.
Steely Dan Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Whoever thought of that needs a raise. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/07/29/k...ory-for-o-line/
kota Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 i wonder if they are a requirement for games or not. if they aren't i wonder how many of the players will use them anyway after getting used to them.
Pilsner Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Whoever thought of that needs a raise. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/07/29/k...ory-for-o-line/ Yes I agree. If the patsies did this, they would probably find a way to add little actuators and motors in the braces to add an extra % of power boost.
Skoobydum Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 They are all $6 Million men, so they need more power.
mpl6876 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 The O line needs more than knee braces. I suggest some steroids instead.
DarthICE Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 i wonder if they are a requirement for games or not. if they aren't i wonder how many of the players will use them anyway after getting used to them. It should be manditory

Tommy Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 If the patsies did this, they would probably find a way to add little actuators and motors in the braces to add an extra % of power boost. Hahaha.
CarolinaBill Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 The O line needs more than knee braces. I suggest some steroids instead. thats a great idea, give'em a drug that actually INCREASES the likelihood of injury. Sorry pal, but that is just plain stupid.
Pilsner Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 It should be manditory Jim Kelly wore his braces proudly. Our O-linemen can too. I recall one play of Jim scrambling and putting the moves on a blitzing linebacker while he wore his servos and wow was it embarrassing for that LB. Jim even got a first down on the play. So our O-linemen should still be nimble enough to make plays.
aristocrat Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 thats a great idea, give'em a drug that actually INCREASES the likelihood of injury. Sorry pal, but that is just plain stupid. the roids only make you injury prone if you stop taking them...you stay healthier when you take them. thats why you see guys take them when they are injured
billsfan89 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I like the idea of being proactive and reactive. They might loose a little second level speed but staying healthy is more important.
CarolinaBill Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 the roids only make you injury prone if you stop taking them...you stay healthier when you take them. thats why you see guys take them when they are injured wrong, anabolic steroids thin the muscles during usage, so while you increase mass, you also increase the likelihood of total muscle tears.
mpl6876 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 thats a great idea, give'em a drug that actually INCREASES the likelihood of injury. Sorry pal, but that is just plain stupid. Bill, it isn't a stupid statement. It is a proven fact that "roids" can make you bigger, stronger, faster, improve injuries faster, etc....Thus, making you a better player. Why do think it is a banned substance?
thebug Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Bill, it isn't a stupid statement. Do you ever wonder why every time you post, someone calls it stupid?
crazyDingo Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Mandatory knee braces are ingenious. I never trusted the surface since they switched it over to nexTurf, or whatever it is now. Too many weird injuries.
Mr. WEO Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 What would the brace done for the o-line last year?
K Gun Special Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Im not the CBA and PA allow them to be mandatory for games. THis isnt new folks and if teams could they would make them mandatory for games.
