Beerball Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Dammit, I knew Gailey's stricter approach would lead to this!

billsfan89 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 This guy has to stay healthy Davis hasn't made it through a whole season in a while and is a bit older. Sure we have Mitchel and Torbor but Poz needs to develop as an anchor for this team.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Meh...better to do this now then have him go down in the first week of the season. And hey, at least for a few weeks or so Mitchell has his "starting job" back. His twitter followers should be ecstatic.
thebug Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Man this guy gets injured a lot. Watched a game the other night on the Big10 channel. It was a replay of the Citrus Bowl (I think) a few years back between Penn State and Florida State. The game went into 3 overtimes and where was POZ? On the sidelines watching after hurting his knee in the 4th quarter. Hope this doesn't nag him all season long.
Steely Dan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Geez, relax he's gonna miss a few practices. No need to start screaming and panicking!!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Groin surgery two weeks ago. Jairus Byrd played with something similar last year, although he did say that it affected his play. Hopefully it's not something that is nagging.

It was a crazy injury, he blitzed and I think it was Leon Washington who put his helmet on his knee and literally flipped him. I know because I was there in disgust of the FSU loss.

Was thinking the entire time that neither of those kickers would ever get drafted. Wasn't it the Orange Bowl though? (or did I just miss a joke?)
thebug Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Poz to star in a new movie 'Breakable' Also starring Trent Edwards......

(or did I just miss a joke?) That was some horrible kicking. It was the Orange Bowl. You didn't miss a joke, I was wrong.

Fred Smerlas's Moustache Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Dude's got the durability of a faberge egg.
thebug Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Wonder if he needs someone to massage his groin? That's likely what got him into this mess. You stay away from him, we need him able to play.

WE'RE GOIN' TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!
MaineMoxie Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Jairus Byrd played with something similar last year, although he did say that it affected his play. And he made the Pro Bowl, tying for the league lead in INTs. Could a healthy (and non-rookie) Byrd actually be better? Scary thought for opposing QBs, IMO.
