Fezmid Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 We have become a nation of self-absorbed idiots. http://www.findingdulcinea.com/news/techno...e-Banned--.html And we have also become a nation that creates too many laws for stupid stuff. We already have a law against texting while driving - it's called "inattentive driving." But based on these "laws," apparently I can send email or browse the web while driving, but I can't text? Where does it end? With "inattentive driving" tickets. Duh.

Fezmid Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 So I do not have to worry about my habit of playing computer games on my phone while driving? Apparently not, since they're only banning texting while driving.
Booster4324 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Apparently not, since they're only banning texting while driving. Score, the good old days are back.
DC Tom Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 We have become a nation of self-absorbed idiots. http://www.findingdulcinea.com/news/techno...e-Banned--.html As The Duke once said: "Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid."
Patience Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 But based on these "laws," apparently I can send email or browse the web while driving, but I can't text? You can text while stopped at a red light, since you're not technically "driving."

Chef Jim Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 But I'm the perfect example that you don't have to be an iPad owner to be a selfish elite.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 But I'm the perfect example that you don't have to be an iPad owner to be a selfish elite. Indeed, wine snob.
Chef Jim Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Indeed, wine snob. It goes much deeper than just wine....isn't that obvious?
LeviF Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Dweeb. Edit: Says the guy waiting for Civ V with bated breath.
Booster4324 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Edit: Says the guy waiting for Civ V with bated breath. I bet he is already rehearsing his strategies based on what he thinks the game will be like.
thebug Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 It goes much deeper than just wine....isn't that obvious? Everything snob!
