boyst Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 It was fun watching him ride that revolving door last year, but per Bills text he was placed on IR. I was hoping he'd be on the team this year because he does have more game experience than our other TE's.

Oh well, we should all be so lucky to be able to collect an NFL paycheck yet never have to play. PTR

H2o Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Stupar vs. Matthews. Who you guys got? Matthews because he's more of a blocking TE and is familiar with Gailey's system.

(edit: oh, wait, he's off of it again!!) ...
FluffHead Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Klopfenstein on injured reserve!!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!!! SO INTENSE!!
BillsRUs Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 I sure do feel sorry for him. Imagine being laid off work every week. LOL. I wonder if Bills HR does exit interviews....and if they are scheduled to meet with Joe every week.

He's getting sidelined from the thing he loves to do...but he's still getting paid--pretty handsomely--to do, well, not much, I guess.

Nanker Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Matthews because he's more of a blocking TE and is familiar with Gailey's system. Absolutely. I figure the weaker the Tackles are the greater chance he has of being the starter.
DrDawkinstein Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 and so it begins! first one on the list and we havent even made it to camp yet! DOOOOOOOOMMMEED!!!!
Nanker Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 and so it begins! first one on the list and we havent even made it to camp yet! DOOOOOOOOMMMEED!!!! At least they don't have to cut somebody else when they sign Troup.
cantankerous Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Why would they do this instead of just cutting him? This ties up a roster spot does it not? Stuuuuupid.

No. It's the first step in hammering out an injury settlement. He'll be able to sign with another team - but not The Bills. Same thing happened to Coy Wire - and a few others.
Maddog69 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 I wonder if this means they are close to signing Troupe.
