ICE Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i think daprickzers just enjoys creating the dumbest threads imaginable 143524 I think you would be 100% Correct.
daquixers Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 LMAO - Ice - your the one who just created a thread saying Indi is going to win the AFC.
kasper13 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 If a 10-1 record is not good, then what the hell is?
Pete Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i think daprickzers just enjoys creating the dumbest threads imaginable 143524 2 letters for you pal- BF
TigerJ Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 So, daquixers, while I generally agree with what you're saying about Pittsburgh and NE, I don't actually see your point. I expected to see a prediction, but I couldn't find one.
TigerJ Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i think daprickzers just enjoys creating the dumbest threads imaginable 143524 That would be the Black Bear's specialty
seq004 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 They have not beat a good team in an AWAY game and till they do they are not an etite team. They probably will make it to superbowl because they won't lose at home in the playoffs.
nick in* england Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 OK I didn't bother reading beyond the first 3 lines... MY question is: who is better?? That's right - nobody... NE, Pitt and Phi are the best in football right now. No doubt
stuckincincy Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Not if, when. I will agree with daquixers, though, about the Steelers. In the end, Cowher's team will fold yet again. 143345 Yes, it's hard not to have that feeling about the Steelers. Still, their ol is solid (although Ben R has seen a lot of turf the past 2 games) and defense mostly so (losing their NT didn't help). Randel-El spices thing up.
ICE Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 LMAO - Ice - your the one who just created a thread saying Indi is going to win the AFC. 143620 Actually yes I believe they are.
gantrules Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Don't we all know it takes a little something extra to get to the SB??? Do we all need to go back to the Homerun throwback or the game between the Pats and Raiders? Once your in the playoffs anything can happen....Let's just root for the Steelers to get homefield b/c it's going to be difficult enough for them to beat the Pats at home.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 You're crazy. The Eagles aren't that good? 4 losses in the AFC?? Give me a break. The Patriots are not that good?? 10-1...spank everyone except PITT!! Who the hell IS good then? And I mean besides your hard-on for Peyton and the Colts. Are they the only really good team in the NFL?? If the Steelers, Eagles and Pats aren't that good (3 best records in the league) then the rest of the teams in the NFL blow a huge dick. 143493 I'll agree with the Eagles assessment. If we had played their schedule rather than oure, even we would be no worse than 9-2 right now. However, the Steelers and Pats are good teams.
Thurman's Helmet Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 The Pats are 27-3 in their last 2 years worth of games including the playoffs. If THAT isnt great, tell me what is? Since Tom Brady took the reigns as Starting QB in 2001, the Patriots are 44-13 and 6-0 in the playoffs.
KurtGodel77 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 It's possible to put together a good record without being a good team. A few years back, Chicago went 13-3 or something with a lot of close wins, but they were exposed for what they really were in the playoffs. Pittsburgh is better than that, though they are not necessarily as good as some other 10-1 teams. Pittsburgh may lose in the playoffs to a team like NE, San Diego, or Indianapolis, but they won't get exposed.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 If a 10-1 record is not good, then what the hell is? 143654 5-6?
daquixers Posted December 4, 2004 Author Posted December 4, 2004 5-6? 145549 a 1-10 record losing close games to incredibly talented teams
